AI Powers Smarter Life! Unitree H2 Plus Humanoid Robot Officially Launched
The integration of artificial intelligence and embodied robots is bringing futuristic sci-fi scenes into real life. Unitree recently released the H2 Plus, a flagship humanoid robot built on the NVIDIA Isaac GR00T platform. Featuring top-tier hardware, robust AI computing power and a complete development ecosystem, it not only leads academic research in robotics, but also delivers practical convenience to people’s daily life and various industries.
Outstanding Hardware for Flexible Daily Operations
Standing 1.82 meters tall and weighing 68 kg, H2 Plus is well adapted to household, office and public scenarios. The main body has 31 degrees of freedom, paired with dual Sharpa Wave tactile dexterous hands (22 degrees of freedom), bringing the total to 75 degrees of freedom. It can smoothly complete daily tasks such as organizing rooms, fetching goods and handling small items. With an arm rated load of 7 kg and peak load of 15 kg, the robot handles both delicate manipulations and physical labor. Powered by the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor T5000 module and Blackwell GPU, it realizes real-time environment perception, voice interaction and autonomous obstacle avoidance. The built-in battery supports around 3 hours of continuous use, and the remote emergency stop function guarantees safe human-robot interaction.
Open Platform Simplifies AI Function Development
Supported by the full-stack NVIDIA Isaac GR00T software suite, H2 Plus unifies the whole workflow including data collection, simulation, training and deployment. This open framework greatly cuts R&D barriers, enabling developers to quickly create and iterate user-friendly AI functions.
Wide Application Scenarios to Benefit Daily Life
This AI-driven robot fits a wide range of use cases. At home, it works as a smart housekeeper to do chores, deliver necessities and assist the elderly or people with limited mobility. In offices and public areas, it takes care of document delivery, venue arrangement and visitor guidance. It also shows great value in elderly care, retail and light industry, replacing repetitive and high-risk manual work to improve overall efficiency.
Outlook
Unitree H2 Plus will start delivery by the end of 2026, and its supporting development tools will be open-sourced on mainstream platforms soon. As AI and humanoid robot technology continue to advance, more intelligent robotic products will step into ordinary lives, making our work more efficient and daily life much smarter.
